Sunny Daze Cookies...

Shannon, my amazing cake decorating teacher had a fondant cookie making class at her house... I was so excited to go... and I'm glad I went.. the cookies turned out cuter than I imagined and they were easy to make... and I got to learn a new way to decorate!! ;)

 I think the turtle and the octopus were my favorite!!  ;)

My friend Rachelle's son turned 5, and he wanted his b-day to be batman themed...  I offered to make the cake...  I had it all figured out..  and it helped give me some practice with the batman emblem..  I thought it looked ok, and the kids LOVED it!!  haha!  ;)

on his actual birthday we met for a movie at the park with everyone, nwe all got to sing happy birthday and everyone enjoyed cake, cupcakes, and some popcorn, lots of running around in the grass, and maybe pieces of the movie here and there...  ;)  Thanks Rachelle for planning it!  It was definitely a good time!  ;)

Hello Kitty treats!!

Miss Ella and Mis Kaelyn turned 5 in July, so their mommies decided to have a hello kitty themed party for them...  you can read more about it here......  :)

I set out to make a cake...  which ended up being a big bundt cake and mini ones all around it...  :)

 ...and mini cupcakes...  :)

and I also set out to make hello kitty cake pops, which we found on the bakerella website!  they were so fun to make... and my sister was nice enough to help me, which meant quality time for us..  so it was a win, win!! ;)  thanks for all your help sister!!  :)

Welcome!!!

.....Oh what the heck!  I've been tossing the idea of a "treat" blog for a while now!!  and after writing the blog for the last few treats I've done for my personal blog, I decided that I would just make them a home of their own!!  :)  I will post pictures and recipes for the treats I make, most of them, or I should say all of them...  are made for family and friends...  Thanks guys for letting my love of baking come to life...  ;)  I'm excited to switch all of the other treats here...  hopefully sooner than later!!  ;)
